MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Freshman
Griffin Massahos (Londonderry, N.H.) led a Panther weep of the top four spots in the 200 meters and the Plymouth State University men's outdoor track & field team delivered strong performances across the sprints, hurdles, and throws at the Middlebury Invitational at Allan Dragone Track & Field Complex on Saturday.
Massahos won the 200 meters, while senior
Zach Hodge (Springfield, N.H.) added a runner-up finish in the 400 meters with a season-best time. Plymouth State also saw standout efforts from sophomore
Gabe Kean (Thornton, N.H.) in the 100 meters, classmate
CJ Lytle (Merrimack, N.H.) in the hurdles, and a trio of personal-best marks in the hammer throw to close out a productive day.

Meet Highlights:
- Kean placed fourth in the 100 meters in 11.31 seconds, while freshman Cam Lee (Northwood, N.H.) was eighth in a season-best 11.44.
- Lytle ran a personal-best 16.40 in the 110-meter hurdles to place eighth.
- The Panthers had five top-10 finishers in the 200 meters, including the top four overall times. Massahos won the event in 23.19, while classmate Khalid Vicks (Kingston, Mass.) placed second in 23.31. Kean finished third in 23.51, and freshman Jiasen Smith (Lisbon, N.H.) placed fourth in a season-best 23.54. Lee also cracked the top 10, taking eighth in 23.79.
- Hodge ran a season-best 50.20 in the 400 meters to place second, with Smith, freshman Tegan Drake (Alexandria, N.H.), and junior Nic Lamontagne (West Lebanon, N.H.) also finishing in the top 10.
- Sophomore Noah Francis (Bethlehem, N.H.) posted a PR in the 1,500 meters, placing 13th in 4:17.58.
- Freshman Parker Wood (Alton, N.H.) was third in the shot put (13.06 meters) and sixth in the discus (35.67m), while freshman Enzo Valenti (Montville, Conn.) was fifth in the shot put with a mark of 12.86m.
- Freshman Maxx Telofski (Peterborough, N.H.), junior Kole Matta (Castleton, Vt.), and sophomore Isaac Robert (Hebron, N.H.) finished tightly grouped in the hammer throw. Telofski was sixth with a PR of 36.80m, Matta seventh with a season-best 36.67m, and Robert eighth with a PR of 35.70m.
