BRIAN BORKOWSKI ('99): A two-time New England wrestling champion and three-time All-New England wrestler, Borkowski enjoyed an outstanding career for the Panthers in the mid-1990s. He earned All-America honors as a senior after advancing to the NCAA championship match at 158 pounds, and completed his career with a record of 98-21, including 91-13 over his last three years.

A native of Sabattus, Maine, Borkowski first made a name for himself as a sophomore, winning two regular season tournaments, placing third at the New Englands and finishing with a 25-8 record. He helped the team to a 10-1 dual match record and the New England Championship. Borkowski then posted a 33-4 record with a team-high 13 pins as a junior, winning four tournaments, including his first New England championship, and making his first appearance at the NCAA Championships, where he won two matches.

Borkowski concluded his career with a terrific senior season, winning all four tournaments, including his second straight New England Championship, and went all the way to the NCAA Championship final before suffering his first and only loss, finishing with a 33-1 record. Borkowski was Plymouth State's Male Athlete of the Year in 1998.
