ELIZA BADEAU ('10): Badeau was the driving force behind the women's volleyball team's remarkable 32-6 record in 2009. The standout earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-New England Honorable Mention as well as LEC Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors in her senior year. A four-time All-LEC selection, Badeau led all of Division III in attack percentage (0.481) during her senior campaign, while also ranking sixth nationally in kills/set (4.64).

Badeau's name is littered through the program's record books, which includes program-best marks in career kills (1,741), attack percentage in a match (0.923), season (0.481) and career (0.379), highest kills/set average in a season (4.64) and career (3.92) and blocks in a match (10) and career (393). Her 0.89 blocks/set career average is second all-time.

Badeau wasted little time making an impression on the LEC. As a freshman she posted team-highs of 387 kills (3.25/game), a .299 attack percentage, 118 blocks and a 0.99 blocks/game average – all marks among the top four in the conference. She was awarded with All-LEC Second Team honors for her effort, while helping PSU to a 19-14 record and ECAC Tournament appearance.

She avoided the "sophomore slump" as she again posted strong numbers; 318 kills, 3.88 k/g, .337 attack pct., 77 blocks and 0.94 b/g – all tops on the team. The Panthers finished the year with a 20-12 mark and made another ECAC Tournament appearance, but were ousted by the top seed in the opening round.

As a junior she pounded down 488 kills (3.90/game) while hitting .384 and adding nearly a block per game (0.91) in leading PSU to its first (and only) ECAC Tournament championship. She dropped 50 kills while hitting .348 throughout the tournament, which included a sweep of Norwich University and 3-1 upset victories over second-seeded Johnson & Wales University and top-seeded Colby-Sawyer College in the title match, as the team finished 22-14 for the year.

Badeau led the Panthers to 16-straight wins to open her senior season, with the team remarkably dropping just two sets during that span. PSU would finish the year with a program-record 32 wins (32-6), with 25 victories coming in straight sets. She capped her career with another season of eye-popping numbers, including 548 kills (second most in program history), hitting .481 (best in program history) and adding 84 blocks while leading the Panthers back to the finals of the ECAC Tournament.
