JEFF SANTOS ('97): A four-time All-New England wrestler and two-time New England champion for Plymouth State in the mid-1990s, Jeff Santos was a three-time All-American by finishing in the top eight in his weight class at the NCAA Division III Championships.

A native of East Stroudsburg, Pa., Santos broke onto the scene as a freshman in 1992-93, capturing the New England Championship at 177 pounds and going on to place seventh at the NCAA Championships. He earned All-New England honors again as a sophomore, finishing runner-up at 177 and advancing to the NCAAs, where he repeated as All-American with an eighth-place finish. He earned All-New England status as a junior, placing third at 177 and finishing with a 27-6 record, and he capped his career with an outstanding senior season, going 27-4, winning the New England title at 190 pounds and placing sixth at the NCAA Championships.

Santos was a key member of the Panther team that captured the New England championship in 1993 under head coach Randy Cleary, and again in 1996 under head coach Dave Carlson. He led the Panthers to a 36-14 dual meet record over his four years, finishing with a 104-20 career record.
