REINER BERTELMANN '73:  A four-year standout on the outstanding Panther men’s soccer teams of the early 1970’s Reiner Bertelmann’s records have stood the test of time. A three-time selection to the All-New England State college Athletic Conference Team (’71-’73), Bertelmann established the PSC career scoring record with 41 goals, 16 assists, and 98 points, a mark that today still ranks #2 on PSC’s all-time scoring list.

He also holds the Panther single-game standards for goals (6 vs. UMaine Portland and Gorham in 1972), assists (3 vs. Castleton State in 1970) and points (13 va. UMPG in the Panthers to NESCAC Western Division Championships in 1970 and 1972, posting a combined 34-11-3 record in his career under coach Gerd Lutter.
