TRACI WALKER GRIFFITH ('91):  A former four-year starter on the Plymouth State women’s soccer teams of the late 1980s, Traci Walker received several academic honors and broke numerous Panther scoring records from 1987-90. She finished her career as the program’s all-time scoring leader, and she still ranks third with 43 goals and second with 116 points.

A native of Framingham Mass./Marian H.S., Walker Griffith broke on to the college scene with a then-school-record 14 goals as a freshman.  After nine more goals as a sophomore, she equaled her school standard with 14 goals as a junior, including a record five in one game.  Walker Griffith capped her career with six goals as a senior and earned numerous awards, including Little East Conference Student-Athlete of the Year and the NCAA’s New Hampshire Woman of the Year.

Walker Griffith helped the Panthers to four straight NCAA Tournaments and appearances in the Final Four in 1987 and 1989.  She helped the team to a combined record of 62-11, winning the first Little East Conference Championship in 1990. Walker Griffith was a year-round participant in Panther athletics, serving as team manager for the men’s ice hockey and men’s lacrosse teams.
