DICK BLOOD ('75):  Over the last 15 years, Dick Blood has been one of the top girls’ softball coaches in New England. From 1980-94, he was softball coach at Hopkinton (NH) High School, where he posted a career record of 264-43, including a 37-5 mark in the state tournament. He led his team to 13 straight state tourney appearances, winning the title eight years and finishing runner-up three times. He was selected Coach of the Year in both 1985 and 1987.

A former baseball and basketball player at PSC before graduating in 1975, Blood moved from the high school to the collegiate coaching ranks in 1994, taking over an assistant coach again, having been named to the top post at Cornell University this past August.
