J.P. SALLESE ('02): A four-year starter for the Plymouth State men's lacrosse program, Sallese holds two of the top three single season assists records. His 54 assists in 2000 are the program's top mark, while his 49 assists in the 2001 season are number three all-time. Sallese also ranks third all-time on the career assists list (143) and career points list (232).

Sallese, who notched 10 assists in a 22-9 victory over Southern Maine in 2001 (the 2nd best all-time), finshed in the top three on the team in scoring in three of his four years. He tallied 29 goals, 49 assists and 78 points to lead the team as a senior, while finshing second as ajunior (26-54-80) and third as a sophomore (21-27-48). He served as the primary set-up man for fellow Hall of Famer Jim Martocchio (HOF '08), the program's all-time leader in goals scored.

His play helped guide the Panthers to a 35-28 mark and included post-season berths in each of his four years (Pilgrim League 1998-2000, ECAC 2001), while playing under three different head coaches (Dave Webster 1998, Bob Ewell 1999, Nate Ostis 2000-2001). Sallese was named a Pilgrim League Divisional All-Star in 2000 and All-LEC First Team in 2001, the first year of men's lacrosse as an LEC-sponsored sport.
