TIM KELLIHER ('82): An outstanding two-sport athlete at Plymouth State, Kelliher was a four-year starter for both the Panther football and ice hockey teams. He served as captain of both teams as a senior, earned All-New England recognition in football, and was named Plymouth State's Male Athlete of the Year in 1982.

A native of Walpole, Mass., Kelliher anchored the Panther football defense from his linebacker position for four years, helping turn the program around from sub-.500 teams his first two years to a winning team his junior year to a championship team his final season. He was co-Defensive MVP as a sophomore, and was co-captain, All-Conference and All-New England as a senior in 1981 when Plymouth State finished 9-1 and won the first of eight straight conference championships.

When football season was over, Kelliher laced up the skates as a four-year defenseman on the Panther ice hockey team. He helped the team to a 38-22 record over four years, and served as co-captain his junior and senior seasons. He was named ice hockey team MVP his junior year when the team finished 10-4-1.
