WHITNEY MORIN ('03): A former shooting guard for the strong Plymouth State women’s basketball teams from 1999-2003, Whitney Morin was a First Team Little East Conference All-Star as a senior after leading the team in scoring. She holds the program record for points in a season with 528 in 2002-03, and she finished her career fifth on PSU’s all-time scoring list (and still ranks sixth) with 1,180 points.

A native of Derby Line, Vt. (North Country Union), Morin came off the bench as a freshman and sophomore, helping the team to a pair of 20-win seasons and ECAC post-season berths. Morin blossomed as a junior, averaging 12.8 points per game and earning the ECAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player award, and she enjoyed a terrific senior season, averaging career highs in scoring (17.0 ppg), rebounding (5.1 rpg), and assists (3.8 apg) and earning All-LEC First Team and All-New England Third Team honors and repeating as ECAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player.

Morin helped the Panthers to an 84-33 record in her four years, including four 20-win seasons and a program-best 23-8 mark as a senior.  She led the team to ECAC New England Tournament berths all four years, capping her final two seasons with victories in the ECAC championship game.
