DAVE PINKHAM ('77): Dave Pinkham was a soccer standout at White Mountains Regional High School in Whitefield, N.H., where he led the Spartans to an undefeated season and the state soccer title in 1972.

After arriving at Plymouth State College, Pinkham had an immediate impact on the PSC Panther soccer fortunes, helping coach Gerd Lutter’s team to its first post-season tournament ever in 1973.

Pinkham’s competitive nature and clutch scoring ability helped PSC to post-season berths again in 1974 and 1975, and the PSC men’s soccer program established itself as one of New England’s finest. Overall, Plymouth State went 38-18-8 during Pinkham’s four-year tenure as a soccer Panther.

After graduating from Plymouth State, Pinkham and his family remained in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, where he obtained a teaching and coaching position at Gilford High School, where he has compiled New Hampshire’s finest high school soccer coaching record since 1977, 129-26-6, through the 1986 season.
