JOEL PERRY ('97):  An All-Star quarterback on Plymouth State’s championship football teams of 1994 and1995, Joel Perry guided the Panthers to a pair of undefeated regular seasons, two berths in the NCAA Division III Championships, and a combined 19-2 record. He was a two-time Freedom Football Conference Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Star, leading the Panthers to consecutive FFC Championships.

A native of Fair Haven, Vt., Perry arrived at PSU after transferring from American International College. He made an immediate impact on the Panthers under head coach Don Brown, leading the team to a perfect 9-0 regular season in 1994, throwing for 1,758 yards and 17 touchdowns with just four interceptions. He led the team to the only NCAA Tournament victory in the program’s history, throwing two touchdowns in the final four minutes as the Panthers came from behind to defeat Kings Point, 19-18.

The Panthers duplicated their undefeated regular season and NCAA Tournament berth in 1995 as Perry was again the top quarterback in New England. He earned ECAC First Team honors for the second straight year after throwing for 1,238 yards and 13 touchdowns.
