JOE CLARK: After a lifetime of success as an athlete, coach, teacher and administrator, Joe Clark is now one of the most respected PGA Golf Professionals in New England. He was a successful baseball coach at PSC in the late 1960s, in addition to coaching varsity soccer and golf and organizing the intramural program. He has since become a teacher, coach, administrator, developer, and author of the game of golf the past 30 years.
A 1960 graduate of Florida Southern, Clark led the Panther baseball team from 1964-70 to a record of 88-31, which still ranks as the highest winning percentage (.739) in school history. He was coach of the 1966 squad that captured the conference championship and was inducted into the PSC Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996.
The past owner and developer of Highland Links Golf Club in Holderness, N.H., Clark is a highly-ranked PGA Master Professional and Director of Golf and Instruction at Owl's Nest Golf Club in Campton, N.H. A former Executive Director of the NHPGA and NHPGA Senior Champion, Clark was voted NHPGA Professional of the Year in 1997 and New England PGA Teacher of the Year in 1999. He was ranked by Golf Digest as the Best Golf Instructor in New Hampshire in 2000 and 2001. Clark has taught PGA Tour players, and he is the author and developer of the T-Golf Technique, a mind-body approach to teaching golf.
