MEG PICKETT (‘79): Meg Pickett was a multi-sport standout at PSC during the late 1970s, excelling at both field hockey and lacrosse.

The New Jersey native never missed a game for coach Dot Diehl’s field hockey Panthers from 1975-78. PSC never suffered a losing season with Pickett playing her familiar center halfback position. Pickett’s field hockey skills would win her spots at the U.S. Development Field Hockey Camps both in 1977 and 1987.

Pickett was also a star on coach Janet Nell’s outstanding PSC women’s lacrosse teams of that era, earning all-New England recognition in 1978.

After leaving PSC, Picket stayed active in athletics as an official for both lacrosse and field hockey. She served as the head field hockey coach at Keene State in 1985, and helped the Owls to compile an outstanding record.
