LAURA GIUSTI-BENNETT ('86): A four-year Panther field hockey star under coach Dot Diehl, Giusti-Bennett earned All-America status in 1984. Her teams posted a combined record of 36-21-6, including a 10-2-4 showing in 1981 and a 14-1 mark in 1984.

Giusti-Bennett helped guide her team to the postseason three times, including the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 1984. The team also earned ECAC (1983) and EAIAW (1981) berths.

After graduating she went on to enjoy a 16-year coaching career at Plymouth Regional High School (1988-2004), where she was a two-time Coach of the Year while compiling a 130-76-19 record. She led the Bobcats to a New Hampshire State runner-up finish in 1997 and was a five-time state tournament semifinalist.

Giusti-Bennett has run field hockey camps and clinics for the last decade and has remained active in coaching youth field hockey and softball.
