DAVE MINICKIELLO ('64): A former athlete at Plymouth High School and Plymouth State College, Dave Minickiello has become known for his contributions to high school wrestling. In 28 years as a head coach, including 22 years at Keene High School, where he founded the program, he has registered a dual meet record of 302-69-4, with nine state titles. Minickiello’s teams have been first or second in the state 15 times in his 22 years, and he has coached 57 individual state champions.

Minickiello led his team to the New England championship in 1985, finishing runner-up in both ’79 and ’86. In 1986, he was named national Coach of the Year by the National Athletic Coaches Association. He was recently inducted into the New England Association of Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame.
