She was a four-year veteran and served as captain of both teams, and received Plymouth State's prestigious Van A. Hartman/Vernon Kelly Sportsmanship Award in 1994.

A native of Freeport, Maine, Meservey Johnson was named to the All-Region Team in women's lacrosse in 1993 and 1994, and in field hockey in 1994. She was a key player on the women's lacrosse team that finished 10-2 in 1992. She was a midfielder as a junior when she led the team in ground balls, and a defender her senior season when she was named to the All-Northeast ‘A' Region team. Meservey Johnson helped lead the Panther field hockey team four straight winning seasons, including a perfect regular season in 1993 (17-0) and an NCAA Tournament berth, the first of five straight post-season appearances for the program.

Meservey Johnson served several years at Plymouth State as an assistant coach of both sports after her playing days.
