BOB WHITEHOUSE ('69):  Bob Whitehouse was a native of Dover, N.H., who came to Plymouth State in 1965, where he established an amazing intercollegiate record as a varsity tennis player.  During an incredible four years of competition, Whitehouse remained undefeated in both singles and doubles tennis competition.  Crowds would gather for PSC home matches to witness Whitehouse’s wizardry.

Team captain in 1969, Whitehouse was the Varsity Tennis Team Award winner as a senior, and also earned the Varsity Club Award in 1969, presented annually to the outstanding PSC college athlete and citizen.

After graduating from Plymouth State College, Whitehouse remained active in local and regional tennis tournaments, and is a former instructor for an Adult Continuing Education program.

Whitehouse and his family moved to Keene, N.H., in 1973, where they have resided ever since.  He and his daughter Kimberly won the mixed doubles competition at the Keene Racquet Club for 1986-87.
