KRISTIN (DOUGHERTY) MASKALENKO ('90): A four-year standout for Plymouth State's women's soccer team (1986-1989) and two-time All-America and All-New England selection, Maskalenko was the team's leading scorer as a junior. Her 10 assists during the 1998 season set a school record and are still tied for third on the PSU single-season list.

She finished her career with 25 goals, 28 assists and 78 points. At the time of her induction, Maskalenko ranked seventh in program history for goals, tied for third in assists and fifth for points.

After helping guide the team to four straight NCAA Tournaments and three Final Fours, she was named Plymouth State Female Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Following her playing career, Maskalenko went on to serve as assistant women's soccer coach at Brandeis University (1990-1992) before spending eight years coaching youth and high school sports in Massachusetts. She was inducted into the Bedford High School Hall of Fame in 2006.
